Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

The website is built to work well with assistive technology. You should be able to:

• navigate the whole website using just a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
• skip straight to the main content of each page;
• use a screen reader, with clear headings, labelled form fields and text descriptions of images;
• zoom in up to 400% without text disappearing or the page scrolling sideways;
• use the website without animation if you have reduced motion turned on;
• use the website with JavaScript turned off.

Text and background colours meet WCAG contrast requirements.

How we test

Every page is automatically checked against HTML standards whenever it changes. We also test with a keyboard, with automated accessibility tools and with a screen reader.

Known issues

We are not currently aware of any parts of the website that do not meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If you find a problem, please let us know.
